What is AntennaPod?
AntennaPod brings podcast subscriptions and episode playback into one Android app. Add a feed by RSS URL, find shows through supported directories or import subscriptions from an OPML file. You can stream an episode immediately, put it in the queue or download it before listening offline. Playback speed controls, chapters and a sleep timer help you choose how to listen.
For regular subscriptions, automatic downloads can be limited by network, charging state and schedule. Storage controls let you manage cached episodes and automatic deletion rather than keeping every download indefinitely. OPML export provides a way to take your subscription list elsewhere.
The app itself has no ads, but that does not remove advertising inserted into podcast audio by its publisher. The linked APK is version 3.12.3 built and signed by F-Droid, not a Google Play package. F-Droid lists Android 6.0 or newer for this build and warns that installing the standalone APK does not provide update notifications; its client is the recommended route for managed updates.
