What is Art of Illusion?

Art of Illusion combines 3D modeling, rendering and animation in one workspace. Use subdivision surfaces to shape smooth objects, arrange them in a scene and build materials with a graphical procedural texture editor. Skeleton-based animation provides a way to bring those models into motion.

The texture editor connects blocks representing patterns and mathematical functions, with a preview that updates as you work. This makes surface design part of the same workflow as modeling and scene editing.

The linked Windows download is the publisher-listed 3.2.1 EXE installer. A Java 8 or later runtime is required; the publisher says the application directs you to a Java download site if an appropriate runtime is missing. The screenshot illustrates an older Windows interface from the source gallery, not a verified view of version 3.2.1.
