What is DreamPlan?
DreamPlan is home and landscape design software for exploring a room layout or renovation before changing the physical space. Build a floor plan, place furniture and experiment with wall colors and textures, then switch between 3D, 2D rendered and blueprint views to examine the design. It also includes outdoor planning tools for gardens, decks and pools.
Start with a sample home design or use Trace Mode to work from an existing floor-plan image. This makes it useful for comparing furniture arrangements or visualizing remodeling ideas rather than working only from a flat sketch. The screenshot shows the Mac application's sample-project chooser, including apartment, house and restaurant layouts; it is a source gallery image, not a capture from a local installation.
NCH Software offers a free version for non-commercial use. That restriction matters if you intend to use DreamPlan for paid client work: the free-use statement does not cover commercial projects. The publisher lists macOS 10.5 or above and recommends OpenGL 2.0 or above, but the selected ZIP package has not been installed or checked on a specific Mac. Its CPU architecture and exact package version are not established by the available publisher page.
