What is DVB Dream?
DVB Dream turns a Windows computer with compatible USB or PCI tuner hardware into a television viewer and recorder. It supports satellite, cable and terrestrial reception, including DVB-S, DVB-S2, DVB-C, DVB-T, ATSC and ISDB-T hardware. Picture-in-picture, an electronic programme guide and a scheduler help with watching channels and planning recordings.
This is tuner-based TV software, not a replacement for the required reception hardware. The publisher recommends checking device compatibility with its trial. That trial is feature-limited; subscribers obtain the full version through the registered users area.
The publisher homepage lists version 3.7.3, dated 10 October 2024. At the recorded HEAD check, however, its public trial link redirected to dvbdreamsetup_v372_trial.exe. The binary response was verified without downloading the installer, so the package's internal version is unconfirmed. The publisher screenshot is a promotional illustration of the interface and picture-in-picture, not a verified view of version 3.7.3.

- The public trial is feature-limited. The full version is supplied separately to subscribers through the registered users area.
