What is FaceGen Modeller?
FaceGen Modeller builds 3D human heads from photographs or randomly generated faces. Shape controls and click-and-drag editing let you refine a face, apply skin textures and add expressions. It is aimed at creating head meshes for animation and other 3D workflows rather than modelling an entire scene.
The publisher lists model export formats including OBJ, FBX, DAE and STL, with texture maps saved separately in PNG, JPEG, TGA or BMP. Expression morph targets can be included in supported exports.
The linked installer is the publisher’s 64-bit Version 3 demo, not the separately listed Version 4 beta. The demo puts a logo on the forehead, includes only a couple of hairstyles and supplies only the Animate and Preview model sets. Paid editions remove the forehead logo and add capabilities; numeric controls, CSV exports and importing face shapes from scan meshes are listed for Pro and Enterprise, not every edition.
The screenshots are source-provided examples of earlier interfaces, not verification of the exact linked installer. The publisher screenshot is labelled Paid 3.6; the Softonic gallery image shows Modeller 3.0.
