What is Feishin?
Feishin is a desktop music player for a self-hosted library. It connects to a Navidrome, Jellyfin or OpenSubsonic-compatible server, giving you a dedicated interface for browsing albums and artists, managing playlists and listening to your collection. It is a client for a music server, not a replacement for setting one up.
The desktop edition supports MPV and web playback backends, server scrobbling, synchronized and unsynchronized lyrics, and a smart playlist editor for Navidrome. The publisher's setup guide describes configuring the MPV executable path and adding a server with its full URL and connection details. Using the MPV backend requires a separate MPV installation.
The linked package is the Windows x64 EXE for version 1.17.0. A separate ARM64 package is listed by the publisher. The reviewed sources do not establish a minimum Windows version or build, so check compatibility before choosing this package. Plex is not natively supported by the main project.
