What is foobar2000?
foobar2000 for Android is an audio player for listeners who manage their own music collection. It plays formats including MP3, AAC, Opus, FLAC and WavPack, with gapless playback for continuous albums and ReplayGain playback and scanning for volume adjustment. The Browse view groups music by album artist, album, title and genre, and provides access to playlists, folders, internet radio and media servers.
Network playback extends beyond files on the device. The mobile app supports UPnP media servers and can send audio to another compatible player or receive remote control. To make a foobar2000 instance visible to other players, enable remote control in More Settings / Remote Control.
The linked package is the publisher’s ARM64 APK for version 2.26.1. Android 7.0 or newer is required; this package is not the separate ARM32 or x86-64 build. The official Android page and changelog identify 2.26.1, while the observed Softonic listing still identifies 2.26. Screenshots illustrate the Android interface, not a verified capture of this release.
