What is Honeycam?
Honeycam is Bandisoft's screen recorder and animated-image editor for Windows. It suits short visual demonstrations, blog animations and product showcases that do not need sound. Capture a screen region or select part of an existing video, then adjust the frames and playback timing before saving an animation. GIF, WebP, WebM and MP4 support is listed in the publisher's gallery.
Editing tools include crop and resize controls, animated text and image overlays, color adjustments, blur, mosaic and collage. To reduce the output size, the publisher recommends adjusting resolution, frame rate or quality, using WebP, or skipping similar images. An estimated file size appears before saving.
Honeycam is commercial shareware, not an unrestricted free recorder. Trial recordings stop at 10 seconds. The Professional Edition removes that trial time limit, but available RAM and disk space still constrain recording. Honeycam cannot record or edit audio, and editing a video that contains sound removes its audio. Choose it for silent animations rather than narrated tutorials or video editing that must preserve a soundtrack.
