What is IINA?
IINA is a media player designed for macOS. It combines mpv-based playback with Mac features such as trackpad gestures, media controls and Picture in Picture. It suits viewers who want to change the player layout rather than use a fixed set of controls.
Controls and sidebars are customizable. Version 1.5.0 adds a Layout pane for docking sidebars, on-screen controls and the title bar, alongside resizable sidebars and a redesigned Settings window. Community plugins can add subtitle sources, video tools and other interfaces.
Check your Mac's system version before choosing this download: IINA 1.5.0 requires macOS 11 or later on Intel Macs and macOS 12 or later on Apple Silicon Macs. The gallery image shows an earlier IINA interface, not the redesigned 1.5.0 layout.
