What is Karaoke Mugen?
Karaoke Mugen manages group karaoke sessions rather than simply playing individual music files. A host can build the running playlist while guests suggest songs from a browser on their phones, tablets or computers. Its anime-song focus makes it useful for fan gatherings, but the operator tools also suit a private singing session or a larger hosted event.
Private sessions can combine requests with the playing queue so additions play in order. For public events, the operator can keep suggestions separate and choose what plays next. Playlist editing, song quotas, voting and playback controls help manage a queue without passing the host computer between singers.
Offline use requires the application and song library to be installed, configured and up to date first. Guests need the same Wi-Fi network when using it without internet; updates, repository downloads and online accounts still need a connection. The linked stable 10.0.6 package is for Apple Silicon Macs; the publisher lists a separate Intel DMG.
