What is Meshroom?
Meshroom builds 3D models from photographs through the AliceVision plugin. Its graph editor exposes the processing pipeline as connected nodes, so you can inspect individual stages and adjust their parameters rather than treating reconstruction as a single hidden operation. Image and 3D viewers help you inspect inputs and intermediate results.
The 2025.1 release expands the toolbox with a plugin architecture and pipeline templates. Alongside photogrammetry, the AliceVision plugin provides camera tracking, HDR panorama workflows, LiDAR meshing, raw-image conversion and color calibration. Cached intermediate results can be reused when only part of a graph changes.
This entry links to the publisher's Windows ZIP package for Meshroom 2025.1.0, not the automated nightly build. The package's release notes specify CUDA 12 binaries with compute capability 5.0 or higher; check GPU suitability before planning a reconstruction workflow. Experimental MeshroomHub extensions require developer setup and cannot be installed through the 2025.1 user interface. The gallery image is a historical Windows interface example, not a screenshot of this release.

Good to know
- The selected prebuilt release uses CUDA 12 and specifies GPU compute capability 5.0 or higher; do not assume GPU-dependent processing works on unsupported hardware.
- Experimental MeshroomHub plugins require developer setup and cannot be installed through the 2025.1 user interface.
- The Windows ZIP is approximately 10.24 GB according to the download server's HEAD response; allow for the archive as well as extracted files.
