What is MP3myMP3 Free Sound Recorder?
MP3myMP3 captures audio processed by your sound card and saves it directly to MP3 or WAV. The publisher describes microphone and streaming-audio recording, with recording-level controls and MP3 quality settings from 16 to 320 kbit/s. Silence detection can create separate files between songs when recording records or tapes.
The application also includes audio-CD conversion, batch file renaming and playlists. Scheduled events let you specify a day, time and internet-radio or podcast URL, but the program must already be running for an unattended recording.
The publisher homepage advertises version 4.2, while Softonic lists 4.2.3 and displays a “Possible issues” notice. The linked publisher EXE was checked by HEAD only: its installed version, safety and compatibility with current Windows releases were not tested. The gallery screenshot shows an older 4.0 interface, not a verified view of the current installer.
