What is PicoTorrent?
PicoTorrent is a Windows BitTorrent client for downloading and seeding files shared through torrents. Its native interface displays torrent size, status and progress, while its protocol support includes BitTorrent v1, v2 and hybrid torrents. The project is written in C++ and uses Rasterbar-libtorrent.
Version 0.25.0 adds sorting by torrent status and label filtering in PicoTorrent Query Language (PQL). These tools help narrow a torrent list rather than requiring you to inspect every entry. The release also allows a save path to be passed when adding files from the command line.
The linked download is the publisher's x64 EXE for version 0.25.0, released on May 12, 2021. Separate x86 and ZIP packages are listed in the same release. The portable version requires manual installation of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2019; it is not dependency-free. Current installation documentation says the installer can offer to download missing dependencies. Exact Windows build requirements and Windows 11 compatibility were not established by the publisher sources inspected here.
