What is RadioCaster?
RadioCaster sends audio from your Windows computer to an online radio stream. It can capture an input device, including an analog source connected to the computer, capture a playback device or transcode a network stream. That makes it useful when an existing audio source needs an internet broadcast output.
The publisher lists MP3, AAC+, FLAC, OGG, OPUS and WMA output, with support for Icecast 2, Shoutcast v1/v2, Windows Media Services and compatible servers. An integrated streaming server is also included. A built-in equalizer and compressor handle sound processing, while VST and Winamp DSP plugin support provides additional processing options. Current and peak listener counts help monitor an ongoing broadcast.
RadioCaster is commercial software with a trial, not freeware. The publisher sells a perpetual license with one year of updates and support; receiving further updates and support after that year requires renewal, although the licensed software continues to work. The linked EXE is the publisher's 32-bit Windows package; a separate 64-bit installer is listed on its download page. The publisher-supplied screenshot shows an older 3.1.0.0 interface and illustrates the application layout rather than the exact 3.7.4 release.
