What is Scribus?
Scribus is a page-layout application for combining text and images in documents intended for print or PDF distribution. Its vector drawing tools and color controls suit work where page composition matters, rather than simply writing a continuous text document. PDF export includes PDF/X options, presentations and forms.
This download is the Scribus 1.6.7 stable-branch EXE installer for 64-bit Windows. The publisher lists Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11; a separate 32-bit installer is also available. Keep document versions in mind when collaborating: the 1.6.x branch cannot open files saved by the newer 1.7.x development branch, and the publisher says those documents cannot be converted back to the older branch.
