What is Tux Paint?
Tux Paint gives children a canvas, large drawing-tool buttons and a penguin mascot that offers tips. It suits home drawing sessions and classroom art activities: children can paint freehand, place stamps, draw lines and shapes, add text, or experiment with Magic effects such as blur and rainbow strokes. Sound effects accompany tool use.
Saved drawings appear as thumbnails rather than requiring children to manage filenames. Pictures can also be printed or exported. Parents and teachers can adjust the program through the included Tux Paint Config utility.
The linked download is the publisher-listed 64-bit Windows EXE installer for Tux Paint 0.9.35-3, bundled with Tux Paint Config 0.0.26. The optional rubber-stamp collection is a separate download. This package supports Windows 8, 10 and 11; the publisher directs users of Windows 7 and earlier to older releases. The screenshot illustrates the drawing interface, not a verified capture of this installer build.
