What is TuxGuitar?
TuxGuitar is a multitrack tablature editor and player for writing guitar parts and playing them back. It can open Guitar Pro, Power Tab Editor, TablEdit and MIDI files, making it useful when your music comes from several notation tools rather than one file format.
This entry links to the publisher's TuxGuitar 2.1.1 macOS package: an Intel x86_64 application distributed as a tar.gz archive, with OpenJDK included. It is not identified as a native Apple Silicon build, and a minimum macOS version has not been established here.
The publisher warns that its packages are not officially signed; macOS may block opening the application. No security settings were changed or installation tested for this entry.
