What is VEGAS Pro?
VEGAS Pro combines video editing, color grading, compositing and audio tools in one Windows application. Split and trim clips, rearrange a sequence on the timeline, and adjust its look without moving to a separate color application. Its customizable workspace lets editors organize panels around their project.
The publisher also describes transcript-based editing and AI masking: edit words or sections in a transcript to update the timeline, or isolate people and objects for adjustments. Extra applications and plug-ins depend on the edition; the base product, Plus and Ultimate do not include identical extras.
This entry links to the publisher-listed Windows x64 EXE for version 2027.0.0. VEGAS Pro is not permanently free: the publisher offers a 15-day Ultimate trial using a Boris FX account and documents Boris FX Hub as its trial setup route. The first screenshot is publisher-supplied VEGAS Pro 2026 UI; the second is historical VEGAS Pro 16.0 UI from Softonic, not a depiction of the linked 2027 version.
What it offers

Good to know

- The publisher identifies VEGAS Pro as Windows-only; this download is the x64 Windows installer.
