What is Vidiot?
Vidiot is a non-linear video editor for assembling home-video projects. Arrange clips on a timeline, trim their duration and combine video, audio and still images into a sequence. A preview pane lets you check the sequence while editing.
The publisher lists cropping, speed changes and compositing controls for scaling, rotation and positioning. Titles, transitions and key frames provide ways to adjust the sequence beyond simple cuts.
The linked package is Vidiot 2.2.0 for 64-bit Windows, from the publisher’s SourceForge project. It is not a 32-bit Windows package. The screenshot illustrates the Windows editing workspace from Softonic’s gallery; it does not establish the appearance of version 2.2.0. Minimum Windows-version requirements and compatibility with individual media formats have not been verified for this package.
