What is AirXoniX?
AirXoniX turns the area-capturing rules of Xonix into a 3D arcade game. You steer a flying device over a playing field and cut off sections that contain no balls. The goal is to fill most of the field without letting a ball cross your unfinished path. Mines move across filled areas, so claimed territory still demands attention.
Each level has a time limit. Collectible bonuses can add lives, score or time, or slow down the balls and mines. The publisher describes five game types and more than 80 levels in the complete distribution; that is not a promise that every level is available in the trial.
The linked publisher download is a self-extracting Windows EXE trial, not an unrestricted free edition. Paid registration removes the game's limitations. The publisher lists a 3D graphics card, DirectX 7.0 or higher and a 300 MHz processor, but does not give a current Windows-version support matrix or CPU architecture. Compatibility with a particular modern Windows release has not been verified here.
