What is Hedgewars?
Hedgewars is a free, open-source artillery game in which teams of hedgehogs take turns attacking with weapons and using tools to navigate the battlefield. Play against AI opponents, share a local match or join a network game. Campaigns and training missions offer solo play, while map generation, team customization and saved match settings let you vary multiplayer battles.
This download is the publisher's Windows 1.0.0 EXE installer, listed for Windows Vista, 7, 8 and 10. The separately offered 1.0.3 source archive includes fixes that the publisher says have not yet reached the Windows build. Controller support covers gameplay but not the main menu; plan to use a mouse and keyboard.
