Open Yahtzee

What is Open Yahtzee?

Open Yahtzee brings the dice-and-scorecard game to a Windows desktop. Each turn gives you up to three rolls: mark the dice you want to keep, roll the rest, and choose a scoring category. The upper section rewards matching faces, while the lower section covers combinations such as full house, sequences and five of a kind. The game ends after all thirteen categories have been filled.

The publisher supplies version 1.10 as a Windows ZIP that you extract rather than install. A customized high-score list gives you a score to improve on in later games. Choose a category carefully: assigning dice to a combination they do not satisfy records zero points.

The publisher does not specify a minimum Windows version or CPU architecture for this ZIP, so older operating-system labels on third-party listings should not be treated as requirements for version 1.10. The publisher screenshot below shows historical version 1.8; the additional gallery image is also from an older listing, not a capture of the current release.
