What is OpenLieroX?
OpenLieroX puts armed worms into simultaneous 2D battles instead of making players wait for turns. Based on Liero gameplay and Liero Xtreme, it combines weapon combat with ninja ropes and customizable characters. Internet and LAN multiplayer make it a choice for playing with friends, while maps, weapon modifications and themes let you change the setting and rules.
The publisher also lists a built-in level editor. The linked Windows ZIP is the 20260717.2 release from the project’s GitHub release page, not the older 0.58-rc5 listing on Softonic.
