What is Pingus?
Pingus is a Lemmings-style puzzle game in which penguins walk on their own and you assign actions to help them reach an exit. Building a bridge, digging through terrain or redirecting the group changes their route through each side-view level. The challenge is choosing a combination of commands that gets them through.
The project adds its own artwork, a world map, secret levels and actions such as jumping, rather than aiming to reproduce Lemmings exactly. A built-in level editor lets players create levels. The publisher also lists multiplayer among the game's features.
The linked Mac package is Pingus 0.7.6 for 64-bit Intel Macs. The publisher separately lists an Intel package named 0.7.6.2; these are distinct downloads, not proof that the selected x86_64 package has that version. The official page does not establish a minimum macOS version, current macOS compatibility or Apple Silicon support.
