What is Pingus?
Pingus is a side-view puzzle game in which the penguins walk on their own. You assign actions such as digging a hole, building a bridge or changing direction to create a route to the exit. It suits players who want to solve movement puzzles by planning how a group crosses each level, rather than directly steering one character.
The game adds its own artwork, a world map, secret levels and actions such as jumping to the Lemmings-style formula. A built-in level editor offers a way to create levels beyond the supplied challenges. The publisher's 0.7.6 announcement also lists ten Christmas-themed levels.
This entry links to the publisher-listed Windows EXE for version 0.7.6, announced in December 2011. It is a legacy release, not a newly released Windows build. Compatibility with current Windows versions and the package's CPU architecture have not been verified; a working download link does not establish that it will run on a particular PC.
