What is Shattered Pixel Dungeon?
Shattered Pixel Dungeon is a turn-based dungeon crawler built around repeat attempts through procedurally generated floors. Choose a hero, explore rooms and decide how to use the equipment and consumables you find. Random layouts, enemies, traps and items change the decisions you face on each run.
The six heroes have distinct play styles, with talents and subclasses that develop as you progress. Equipment can be upgraded or enchanted, while alchemy lets you craft consumable items. The publisher also lists keyboard, mouse and gamepad input, configurable controls and interface modes for different screen sizes.
Expect a demanding game rather than a guaranteed first-run victory: enemies, traps and bosses can end your attempt, and the publisher explicitly warns that an initial win is unlikely.
