What is Simutrans?
Simutrans puts you in charge of a transport company connecting towns and industries. Build routes for passengers, mail and goods, then choose vehicles for travel by road, rail, water or air. It suits players who want to plan an interconnected network rather than drive individual vehicles. The publisher describes solo play, network games for up to 14 players and adjustable economic settings.
Routes must serve actual demand: passengers have specific destinations, and factories trade through contracts. A connection between two places is not enough if it does not carry the traffic those places need. Different graphics sets, called paksets, also change the available objects and economic settings.
The direct download here is the publisher's Android APK from release 125.0. The Google Play listing separately advertises release 125.0.1; this APK is not presented as that newer store release.
