What is SuperTux?
SuperTux is a side-scrolling platform game about Tux's journey to rescue Penny from Nolok. Run through its worlds, jump on enemies or throw objects at them, and use power-ups to get through obstacles. Keyboard and gamepad controls are configurable, and an item pocket holds one extra item for later.
Beyond the story, you can play community-contributed levels or build your own with the integrated editor. Version 0.7.0 adds local multiplayer and movement abilities including sliding down slopes, rolling as a rock and crawling. Returning players should plan for a fresh story save: the publisher warns that older story-mode saves are invalidated and backed up, while beta saves need manual conversion.
