What is SuperTuxKart?
SuperTuxKart brings arcade kart racing to Android, with colorful mascot drivers, powerups and tracks that range from snowy mountains to tropical jungles. Race against computer-controlled opponents, work through Story Mode challenges or compete across a Grand Prix series. Time-Trial removes powerups so the focus stays on driving, while Soccer, Egg Hunt and Battle offer alternatives to a normal race.
This entry links to the publisher’s standalone SuperTuxKart 1.5 APK for all architectures, not Softonic’s separately listed XAPK. The publisher lists Android 5.0 or later, at least 1 GB of free RAM and 800 MB of storage. Its integrated benchmark helps compare graphics settings on your device; mobile rendering uses a reduced resolution by default to improve performance.
Online features have a current restriction: in its October 24, 2026 notice, the team reports that the addons website and new online account registration are unavailable during a service rewrite. Single-player and LAN multiplayer remain available, and previously approved addons can still be installed. Do not rely on creating a new online account until the publisher restores that service.
