What is SuperTuxKart?
SuperTuxKart is an arcade kart racer built around colorful tracks, mascot characters and powerups rather than realistic driving. Race computer opponents, work through Story challenges or compete across Grand Prix cups. Time Trial removes powerups to focus on driving, while Soccer, Egg Hunt and Battle offer alternatives to ordinary races. Version 1.5 includes 21 official tracks and 18 official karts.
For playing together, the game supports split-screen on one computer and LAN multiplayer. Do not download it expecting to create a new online account immediately: the team’s 24 October 2026 service notice says new registrations are closed while online services are rewritten. The add-ons website is also offline, although the notice says previously approved add-ons can still be installed. Single-player, split-screen and LAN play remain available according to that notice.
The download here is the full SuperTuxKart 1.5 EXE installer for Intel/AMD 64-bit Windows. It is not the separate 32-bit or ARM64 package, nor the in-development SuperTuxKart Evolution. The publisher pages checked do not specify a minimum Windows version; check your system and graphics hardware before choosing this build.
