What is Actual Installer?
Actual Installer turns your application files and installation settings into a Windows setup program. Its project wizard collects the source folder, main executable and installation options, while the editor lets you configure shortcuts, license text, prerequisites and uninstall support. It is aimed at developers packaging their own software, rather than users looking to install Windows itself.
The publisher lists a shared download containing the Free and Pro Trial editions. Free can create setup files for commercial and non-commercial distribution. Pro Trial is evaluation-only: its generated setup files must not be distributed. Check the edition before preparing a release, because advanced capabilities are not all part of Free.
The publisher lists version 10.10, released October 9, 2026, and provides an EXE download named ActualInstallerFree10-online.exe. The screenshot shows the publisher’s earlier Pro+ 10.3 interface, not a hands-on test of the offered download.
