What is AnyDesk?
AnyDesk connects to a remote computer so you can work with its desktop from another location. The Windows download suits helping someone with their PC or accessing your own personal device. Its EXE can run as a portable application, or you can install it to keep the AnyDesk service running in the background.
The choice matters for ongoing access. In ordinary portable mode, AnyDesk must be started manually and closing its window ends active sessions. Installed mode supports background operation across sign-outs and restarts. AnyDesk is free for personal, non-commercial use, but work-related access and paid technical support require a license. Features such as session recording and file transfer depend on the plan; do not assume every advertised feature is included in the free tier.
