What is Beekeeper Studio?
Beekeeper Studio is a desktop SQL editor and database manager for working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite and SQL Server. Write queries with syntax highlighting and autocomplete, keep queries in separate tabs, and inspect or edit table data in a spreadsheet-style view. Query and connection folders help organize repeated database work.
The free Community features cover everyday querying, table browsing and schema changes. The same application also offers paid upgrades: import/export and backup/restore are not Community features, while AI Shell and cloud workspaces require higher paid tiers. Check the edition comparison before relying on a particular database connector or advanced feature.
The linked version 6.1.5 DMG is for Apple Silicon Macs (arm64). Intel Macs use a separate publisher package. The publisher illustration below shows the shared desktop interface with Windows window controls; it is not a screenshot captured on macOS.
