What is Bome SendSX?
Bome SendSX is a focused utility for communicating with MIDI devices through System Exclusive (SysEx) messages. It displays outgoing data and incoming replies in separate panes, making it useful when you need to send a small request and inspect what a device returns. It also displays other incoming MIDI events, so the same window can serve as a MIDI monitor.
Loading and saving SysEx files lets you archive a device's bulk dump and send the saved data back later. The publisher's version history also documents a selectable send speed in bytes per second, transfer-rate progress, an option to send only selected data and a SysEx-only receive option. Version 1.4 adds the ability to disable throttling for full messages, disable 128-byte chunking and send outgoing data with the /send command-line parameter.
The publisher still labels its Windows download as version 1.4, dated February 2019. Softonic lists Windows 11, but the publisher's product page does not give a current Windows-version compatibility matrix or state the package architecture.
