What is Brave?
Brave is an Android web browser for people who want ad and tracker blocking built into their everyday browsing. It combines private tabs, Brave Search, bookmark synchronization and the Leo AI assistant in one app. The Android listing also describes a night mode and tools for importing or exporting bookmarks.
The browser is free to use, but Brave Firewall + VPN is a separate subscription feature rather than a benefit automatically included with private tabs. A private tab does not hide browsing activity from your internet provider, employer or school network; it mainly limits what remains on the device after private tabs close.
This entry links to Bravearm64Universal.apk from the publisher’s GitHub release v1.97.59, not the third-party XAPK named on Softonic. Choose it only for a compatible ARM64 Android device. The publisher help center lists Android 10 or later, while the Play description still says Android 7 and above; the exact minimum for this APK was not inspected. Google Play remains an alternative distribution channel on the official listing.
