What is C-Free?
C-Free brings C/C++ source editing, project building and debugging into one Windows development environment. Its Professional edition includes a source parser, code completion, parameter hints and navigation to declarations and definitions. Compiler support includes MinGW, Cygwin, Microsoft C++ and other toolchains listed by the publisher.
The linked EXE is C-Free 5.0 Professional, identified by ProgramArts as build 5.0.0.3314. It is not the separate free C-Free 4.0 Standard package. The publisher's linked end-user agreement limits unpaid evaluation to ten launches and requires registration for continued use. The release history dates version 5.0 to January 4, 2010; Softonic's later listing-update date is not a new software release. Compatibility with current Windows releases has not been verified.
