What is ClipClip?

ClipClip is a Windows clipboard manager for collecting copied material and reusing it across applications. Its history supports plain text, rich text, HTML, CSV, images and files. Search helps retrieve an earlier clip, while pinned clips keep frequently used content separate from the recent history. The Paste Menu lets you reuse a saved clip in your current application without opening the main manager.

It suits repeated replies, reusable text snippets and work that involves moving several pieces of content between documents. Built-in actions can change text case, encode text or count words, and the Clip Editor handles rich text and images. Vitzo also documents screen capture, GIF or MP4 recording and text extraction from images. These are publisher-described capabilities, not results of an installation test.

The advertised history holds up to 1,000 clips, subject to available device memory; it is not an unlimited archive. ClipClip is free for personal use. The publisher offers a separate one-time commercial license for version 2, with 2.x updates included but future major versions sold separately. The linked Windows EXE resolved to the 2.4.6099 build during the recorded header check. Exact minimum Windows versions and processor architecture were not established by the sources used here.

Good to know

  • The inspected sources establish Windows desktop support but do not establish an exact minimum Windows release or installer processor architecture.
