What is CoolUtils Mail Viewer?
CoolUtils Mail Viewer opens saved email files without requiring Microsoft Outlook. It supports MSG, EML and EMLX alongside P7M, ICS, VCF and winmail.dat (TNEF). Use it to browse a folder of messages, read an email and work with its attachments rather than install the original email client just to inspect a file.
The viewer also lets you copy, move or delete selected emails. Its reporting feature creates a fact file in TXT, PDF, XLS, CSV or HTML, with selectable fields such as sender, recipient, date and attachment information. This is useful when you need an inventory of saved messages rather than a report containing every available field.
The publisher states that home use is free but commercial use requires a license. Report output should not be confused with converting the messages themselves: the publisher directs users who want to save MSG or EML messages as PDF, DOC, TXT, HTML or TIFF to its separate Total Mail Converter product.
