What is DeskPins?
DeskPins adds an always-on-top option to application windows. Take a pin from its notification-area icon and click the window you want to keep visible, such as a calculator beside your main work. The publisher lists unlimited pins, so the tool is not restricted to keeping just one window on top.
For repeated use, wildcard-based automatic pin rules can select windows without manually pinning each one. Global hotkeys provide another way to control DeskPins. The screenshots show its pin marker on a Calculator window and the Autopin settings dialog; they are historical source images, not captures of a current Windows installation.
The publisher offers version 1.32, dated February 20, 2015, and lists Windows 10, 8.x, 7, Vista, XP and 2000 for that installer. Windows 11 compatibility is not established by that page. Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable (x86) is a listed requirement; the x86 dependency does not establish the installer architecture. The linked package is an EXE installer, not a portable edition.
