What is DeSmuME?
DeSmuME emulates the Nintendo DS on a Windows computer. It provides save support and graphics settings for controlling the emulation experience. Version 0.9.13 adds a GPU Scaling Factor option that can render 3D graphics above the original DS resolution of 256×192 pixels.
The linked download is the publisher’s stable 0.9.13 Windows 64-bit ZIP, not a nightly build. The publisher lists the Visual C++ 2015, 2017 and 2019 redistributable as a runtime prerequisite and links to a separate prerequisite installer. Wi-Fi emulation is not supported, and DeSmuME is not a Nintendo 3DS or 2DS emulator.
The screenshot shows an older Windows interface from the source gallery; it is a historical illustration rather than a capture of version 0.9.13.
