What is Dolphin Emulator?
Dolphin runs Nintendo GameCube and Wii games on a Windows PC using game files you supply. It is useful for revisiting a disc collection with higher-resolution rendering and PC controller input rather than using the original console display and controls. The project also offers turbo speed and networked multiplayer.
This download is the publisher's Dolphin 2609a release for Windows x64, supplied as a 7z archive rather than an installer. Extract the archive to a folder before running the application. Windows 10 or newer and the 64-bit Visual C++ v14 redistributable are required; Windows ARM64 has a separate package.
Games are not included. The publisher directs users to dump their own discs, and compatibility still varies: some titles have sound or graphics defects, crashes or demanding performance requirements. Check the publisher's game-specific compatibility information before choosing settings. The screenshot is an older Windows interface from Softonic's gallery, not a capture of release 2609a.

Good to know
- No games are included; supply your own game dumps.
- Compatibility and speed vary by game and hardware; sound or graphics defects and crashes remain possible.
- Requires a 64-bit operating system and the Visual C++ v14 redistributable; this x64 archive is not the separate Windows ARM64 build.
