What is DoubleKiller?
DoubleKiller searches selected folders, drives or network locations for duplicate files. You choose which comparison criteria to combine: file name, size, modification date and content checksums. File masks, size ranges and attribute filters let you narrow a scan before reviewing the results.
The results list lets you select which copies to delete or move to another folder, and export the list to a text file. The publisher distributes DoubleKiller as a ZIP archive containing a stand-alone executable: extract it to a folder rather than run an installer.
This is the basic edition, not DoubleKiller Pro. It is free for private use only, has a 2 GB limit per file, and does not offer byte-for-byte comparison, command-line automation or moving deleted files to the Recycle Bin. Review selections before deleting; moving selected copies to another folder is also available. The publisher dates version 1.6.2.82 to July 7, 2007. Compatibility with current Windows releases has not been verified.

- The publisher's listed release is dated July 7, 2007; compatibility with current Windows releases is unverified.
