What is FET?

FET builds educational timetables from activities, teachers, student groups and available rooms. It is designed for school, high-school and university scheduling, with automatic generation as well as semi-automatic or manual allocation. Time and space constraints let you describe unavailable periods, breaks, preferred rooms and limits on daily hours or gaps.

Student sets can be organized into years, groups and subgroups. FET supports CSV import and export, stores input in XML and exports generated timetables to HTML, XML and CSV. These formats help move scheduling data into or out of the application and share the resulting timetable.

Generation time depends on the difficulty of the timetable: the publisher warns that extremely difficult schedules can take hours. This download is the 64-bit Windows 10-or-later executable; the publisher lists separate packages for older Windows systems. The gallery image shows an earlier FET interface, not a verified capture of version 7.12.0.
