What is FMSLogo?
FMSLogo is a Logo programming environment for Windows. It is designed for learning: commands move a turtle around a drawing area, turning programming instructions into visible shapes. The publisher describes classroom uses spanning mathematics, art, music, engineering and robotics.
Beyond turtle graphics, FMSLogo supports multiple independent turtles, wire-frame and solid 3D perspective drawing, BMP image loading and saving, and animated GIF creation. Mouse, keyboard and timer events support interactive programs; MIDI and TCP/IP networking extend what Logo projects can do.
This entry links to the publisher-hosted FMSLogo 8.5.0 EXE installer. Its release notes list Windows XP with 512 MB RAM as the minimum requirement; this is a publisher specification, not a compatibility test. Direct I/O control of external hardware requires administrator privileges. The screenshot shows an older Spanish-language interface and is not a version-specific preview of 8.5.0.
