What is Gramps?
Gramps organizes family-history research around people and their relationships. Use it to record relatives, connect families and keep events, places, sources, media and notes alongside your research. Reports and charts provide ways to present family connections beyond the main list of people.
This entry links to the publisher’s Gramps 6.0.8 Windows 64-bit AIO executable. Back up existing family trees before upgrading, as the release notes advise. Some functions depend on additional components: the publisher documents that the Geography view needs osmgpsmap and that three reports cannot run without Graphviz. These are documented requirements, not findings from running this Windows package.
