What is Heaven Benchmark?
Heaven Benchmark puts a graphics card under a demanding 3D workload to help evaluate performance and stability. Its floating-island village combines hardware tessellation, changing lighting and volumetric clouds. You can choose graphics settings in the launcher, run a benchmark or explore the environment with fly-through and walk-through camera modes. GPU temperature and clock monitoring help you observe the hardware during the workload.
The publisher offers version 4.0, dated 2013, through the Windows EXE linked here. Its DirectX 9, DirectX 11 and OpenGL 4.0 workloads reflect that generation of graphics APIs; this is not a DirectX 12 benchmark. The free Basic edition is distinct from the paid editions: benchmark looping, command-line automation and CSV reporting require an extended edition. The Basic EULA limits use to educational and evaluation purposes; commercial-use licenses are offered separately.
What it offers
- Run a GPU-intensive 3D benchmark with DirectX 9, DirectX 11 or OpenGL 4.0.
- Adjust graphics quality and hardware tessellation settings.
- Monitor GPU temperature and clock speeds during the workload.
- Explore the steampunk scene with cinematic, fly-through and walk-through camera modes.
Good to know
- Benchmark looping, command-line automation and CSV reports are not included in the free Basic edition.
- Version 4.0 dates from 2013 and tests older graphics APIs, not DirectX 12 workloads.
- The Basic EULA allows educational and evaluation use; commercial-use licensing is separate.
