What is Hiddify?
Hiddify is a proxy client for Macs running macOS 10.15 or later. It brings server profiles into one application, with support for sing-box, V2Ray, Clash and Clash Meta configuration formats. It is useful when you already have a connection link from a provider or your own server and want to manage that connection on your Mac. The linked DMG is version 4.1.1 for Intel and Apple Silicon Macs.
Add a profile from the clipboard or enter its subscription URL manually, then connect from the Home screen. Profiles can hold several servers; Hiddify can select a working node by delay, or you can choose a server from the Proxies page. Subscription updates refresh the server list without creating a separate profile for every node.
Hiddify is not a ready-supplied VPN service: you need your own server configuration or a provider's connection link. HTTPS is required for subscription URLs. On computers, System proxy is the default mode, but some applications ignore the system proxy. The publisher documents VPN mode for broader traffic routing and says it requires administrator privileges on macOS.
The screenshot is the publisher's historical Hiddify Next demonstration, showing the Mac interface alongside Android. It displays version 0.8.11, not the current 4.1.1 interface; it is included as an older UI illustration, not evidence of a test of this release.
What it offers
- Import sing-box, V2Ray, Clash and Clash Meta subscription profiles.
- Select a proxy server automatically by delay or choose a node manually.
- Update subscriptions and manage multiple connection profiles.
- Choose local proxy, System proxy or VPN service modes.
- Switch between light and dark interface themes.
Good to know
- A connection link from a provider or your own server is required; the client does not supply a working server subscription.
- Subscription URLs must use HTTPS; plain HTTP subscription links are not accepted.
- Some applications ignore System proxy mode. VPN mode requires administrator privileges on macOS.
- The publisher's license includes additional restrictions, including a noncommercial-use condition; do not assume unrestricted reuse.
