What is InternetTest Pro?
InternetTest Pro brings several Windows connection tools into one graphical application. Use its website availability check to investigate an unreachable site, inspect a domain's DNS records or WHOIS information, and run ping or traceroute to examine responsiveness and network hops. IP configuration and network-adapter views help you inspect the local side of a connection without switching between separate command-line tools.
Its WiFi utilities show nearby networks and recover passwords already stored for networks the computer has previously joined. That recovery feature is not a way to obtain passwords for unfamiliar networks. IP geolocation is approximate rather than an exact address lookup. The selected 9.1.0.2602 Windows installer belongs to a release that requires .NET 10; the publisher's older .NET 8 contributor instructions should not be treated as this release's dependency guidance.
What it offers
- Check whether a website is available and look up DNS records or WHOIS information.
- Run ping and traceroute to inspect response times and intermediate network hops.
- View local IP configuration, network adapters and nearby WiFi network information.
- Recover saved WiFi passwords for networks the computer has previously connected to.
- Look up approximate IP locations and use Confidential Mode to conceal information such as IP addresses and SSIDs in the interface.
Good to know
- The publisher lists Windows 10 and Windows 11 only; release 9.1.0.2602 requires .NET 10.
- WiFi password recovery is limited to stored passwords for previously joined networks; IP geolocation is approximate.
- The publisher screenshot shows version 9.0.0.2508, not the selected 9.1.0.2602 release; interface details can differ.
