What is Kana Reminder?
Kana Reminder schedules reminders for a chosen time and can launch another program when an entry is triggered. Its recurring schedules cover hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and annual reminders. Configurable sounds, an always-on-top reminder window and a remind-again interval let you choose how an alert appears and repeats.
The linked publisher package is version 1.5.0.61, distributed as a ZIP containing a setup program. The publisher also documents a separate version 2 beta; its additional features should not be assumed to exist in this 1.5 package. The published system list covers Windows 9x, ME, NT, 2000 and XP, not confirmed support for Windows 10 or 11.
What it offers
- Schedule reminders hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or annually.
- Launch a program or an associated file when a reminder is triggered.
- Choose a reminder sound, repeat the sound and set a remind-again interval.
- Configure reminder windows to pop up automatically or stay on top.
- Schedule shutdown, reboot or logoff using the built-in actions.
Good to know
