What is KIT Scenarist?
KIT Scenarist brings story preparation and screenplay drafting into one project. Its research module keeps the logline, synopsis, characters, locations and reference materials together. Scene cards provide a visual outline, while the script editor handles screenplay paragraph formatting and offers a scene navigator, notes and text search.
For revision and delivery, the statistics module reports counts and estimated scene duration. You can import an existing script in FDX, Fountain, DOCX, ODT, Trelby or Celtx format, and export to PDF, FDX, Fountain or DOCX. Import and export support differ; ODT, Trelby and Celtx are not listed as export formats on the publisher page.
This entry links to the publisher's Windows EXE installer for 0.7.2 rc15. It is a Release Candidate, not a newly issued final release. The publisher says KIT Scenarist will receive no further updates and directs users to its successor, Story Architect. Keep that maintenance limit in view when choosing a tool for ongoing work; the available installer is not evidence of continued support or verified compatibility with a particular Windows build.

- The inspected publisher catalog does not establish an exact minimum Windows version or installer architecture; this package was not installed or compatibility-tested.
